"There are no words to describe this trip! We did the fly-in fishing excursion to Big River Lake and I still can’t believe I got to do this in my life. Every minute (even sipping hot chocolate at the coffee shop overlooking the docked planes on the lake was breathtaking. The 20 minute flight was indescribable in beauty and the smoother than a commercial airliner. Our guide Flip took us to a few different spots before striking gold! Everyone in the boat caught their maximum allowable Sockeye and we did it in front of a waterfall with brown bears swimming all around us. And Flip surprised us with a special treat afterwards about which we are sworn to secrecy…but it was the icing on the cake. This was my son’s high school grad gift trip and our day with Alaska West Air was nothing short of magical. It was not only a highlight of all my travels, it was a highlight of my life that my son and I will share forever!"

"Once in a lifetime trip with the fly in bear viewing trip. Flying in a seaplane to cook lake and then touring the lake on boat. Saw easily 30+ bears exploring the lake and hunting salmon. We visited mid-September which is apparently a good time to come. Our guide Badger was brilliant, lots a good stories and all around good guy. Thanks Alaska West Air for a great trip!"
